Registered business

Page Ashfield Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name operating this practice. We were established in 2019 in Gwangju to serve hardware-wallet holders who wanted structured maintenance rather than reactive troubleshooting.

Brief history

Page Ashfield began when two former bank operations staff noticed a gap: colleagues who bought Ledger and Trezor devices rarely updated firmware or documented balances until something went wrong. We opened a small consultation desk in Gwangsan-gu and built maintenance ledgers clients could keep on their desks.

By 2021 we added balance snapshot reviews aligned to Korean tax-reporting seasons. Remote sessions expanded our reach beyond Gwangju while the in-office desk remained our anchor for firmware walk-ins and seed-backup audits.

Today we maintain calendars for several dozen annual programme clients and conduct firmware sessions twice weekly at our Demo-ro office.

Our approach

We treat hardware wallets as long-lived instruments that need a calendar, like any piece of equipment that stores something valuable. Sessions are documented, paced, and never rushed. We explain each step on-device so you retain control of keys and backups throughout.

People

Soo-yeon Park — Lead technician, Ledger and Trezor certified workshop training (2020). Manages firmware sessions and ledger documentation.

Jae-min Han — Balance snapshot specialist. Former accounting clerk; formats outputs for holder and preparer handoff.

Eun-ji Choi — Client scheduling and maintenance calendar coordination.

Values

  • Transparency — Written summaries after every session.
  • Non-custodial — We never hold keys or execute transfers.
  • Local presence — A physical desk in Gwangju for holders who prefer in-person care.

Relationship to the community

We host occasional open desk hours for first-time hardware wallet buyers who want a neutral third party to witness their initial backup ritual. These are educational sessions, not sales events.
